At BrainMatriX, we are passionate about education in both theory and in practice. Our management and development teams hold advanced degrees that required the successful completion of many standardized tests, exams, and dissertations. And, our background in neuroscience gives us the ability to integrate learning and memorization models into our software.
Jacques Jospitre, CEO and Founder
Jacques Jospitre spent years studying for various degrees including a Medical Degree, a PhD in neuroscience and an MBA. Dr. Jospitre got the idea for eReviewbook on one of the many late nights he was up studying. He was manually applying study techniques that he realized could be made much more efficient with technology. This is where his background in neuroscience and psychology - together with his general love of computer programming - came in handy. Dr. Jospitre created the original version of eReviewBook to help make his studying more efficient.
Friends soon started asking him for copies of the program, and eReviewBook soon took on a life of its own.eReviewBook is used by students around the world to study and prepare for their exams.

Jeff Sholl, Chief Technology Officer
In addition to being CTO at BrainMatriX, Jeff is also the visionary behind NoteScribe. While he was a student in the Cognition and Perception graduate program at Miami University of Ohio, Jeff worked on figuring out how technology could be used to facilitate the often labor-intensive academic research process for his professors and fellow peers. With his extensive software engineering background, Jeff realized that the often burdensome process of organizing and managing huge amounts of information could be made much simpler. But it wasn't until he started working on his own Masters thesis that Jeff became obsessed with creating the ultimate note-taking program. NoteScribe was released in February 2008 to become the new gold standard in highly intuitive and affordable note-taking software solutions for students everywhere.
