How It Works

eReviewBook was designed by psychiatrists at BrainMatriX to fit how our brains actually acquire and retain new information. This form of self-study was validated by recently published research that reinforced what most educators, cognitive scientists and serious students already know: the more tests you take, the more likely you are to remember what you learned.

The eReviewBook method works because it allows you to keep testing your knowledge in order to memorize your material as you go, using these key steps:

Memorize

Read your material, marking all key words and concepts as you go.

Reinforce

For every keyword and concept that you mark, create a question in eReviewBook, and write the answer.

Assess

Test yourself with the questions you have created, and let eReviewBook assess your performance.

Repeat

Practice makes perfect!

Testimonials

"I use eReviewBook several different ways as a nursing student. I input the vocabulary and abbreviations in each chapter of the numerous books we are assigned. I also type in all procedures so that I can review the steps whenever I get a chance. This quarter, I also am inputting the course objectives and the associated notes from my reading so that I don't have to carry the book(s) around. I use the flashcard mode to go through each note. It is so much easier than making flashcards by hand. As we study the various drugs, I can make a drug card for review, similar to the ones we use at our clinical sites. I also like the review mode that cycles through the incorrectly answered questions so that I don't waste time studying the ones I already know. I plan to type in the questions from the study guides which are multiple choice and review those in test mode if I get the time. When it comes time to study for my LPN and RN exams, I will relying on eReviewBook to practice the sample review questions. I'm sure I will find other uses for it as well."

"Thank you for the customer support and willingness to answer questions about your software. My brother and I used your software to study for Cell and Molecular Biology, and we are the only two people who made A's out of about 50 students. I just wanted to let you know how well the software worked for my brother and me."
